- acidburnNSA 7y agoI used to believe this too. Talking to industrials, I learned that many industrial processes require major capital investments that demand continuous supply of power. For instance, a big water desalination plant can cost $4B. You better believe they want to run that sucker 24/7 to make a good return on investment.
