Essentially, second place in same constituencies.
The rationale is that people voted to be represented. When the 1st place candidate wins, they have no more incentive to represent the 'losers'.

I would always be interested in reading more analysis of this topic.
- Joakal 7y agoThere's no second place winner for IRV, FPTP, etc. That's where my proposal comes in as a stop gap measure to cover lack of representation while increasing journalism potential.
