- chrispeel 7y agoThe Texas Tribune appears to have been created in 2009 as a non-profit. In contrast, the Salt Lake Tribune was founded in 1868, and has been for-profit until now. I believe the unique thing about the SL Trib is its transition from for-profit to non-profit.
