This is an excellent example of why you shouldn't write your own crypto code - Colin is awesome at it and even he makes mistakes. Edit: To be clear, this isn't aimed at Colin but meant to point out that if he still occasionally gets it wrong there's a pretty good chance that your fancy custom encryption method does too.
