Not sure why you think BT and GPS are sufficient for Android Auto compatibility. AA and CarPlay require the ability to use your car's display as a peripheral.

- smallstepforman 7y agoI got the option to play video from external device as Picture in Picture, so I'd say the inbuilt unit is quite capable of sharing the display and touch screen.
