Poll: Ask HN: Which web application framework programming language do you use?
The programming language behind the web application framework, but you can specify what you use in the comments.
- rewind 16y agoASP.NET isn't a language (but considering how few people on HN use the MS stack, I don't think it's going to throw off your results by much).
- HowardRoark 16y agoJava - Grails and PlayFramework to be specific.

- liamgriffiths 16y agoDepends on the task so I'm not sure how useful the responses to a poll like this would be. I tend turn to these: PHP - codeigniter, Drupal Perl - usually a custom framework Python - Flask, Pylons
- arianb 16y agoPython - Flask PHP - Drupal I infinitely prefer Flask, but I can only really do that for personal projects. Everything at work is PHP / Drupal.
- zeemonkee 16y agoDjango for work, Flask for home projects, although (slowly) learning Clojure and Haskell. PHP/Wordpress/Drupal for the occasional family website.
- gtcode 16y agoPHP - Yii. Excellent.
- xyentific 16y agoPython/Django for work. Ruby/Rails for my personal projects.
- mindcrime 16y agoOther: Groovy.
- dw0rm 16y agoPython/webpy
- wil2k 16y agoPython + PyAMF behind a Flex interface. Soo nice! :)
