- tosca 7y agoI’m not 100% if you’re being ironic. They supposedly made the trip seven times and they don’t have the telemetry data from any of the missions. The most important missions ever performed and they delete priceless metrics. They never returned after 50 years. Don Pettit claims that NASA destroyed all the technology to go there and is having a difficult time rebuilding it. None of this makes any sense. Never in the history of technology has a task increased in complexity while technological advancements also increased. It’s all nonsense.

Well, actually… I think I have only one or two VHS tapes, being the equivalent of /tmp. yes "have"; I still have all the tapes I recorded neatly organized and mothballed in boxes, and except for that two particular tapes I can not recall of overwriting any other.
