As I understand the speed is throttled on bike ways. So is it only allowed to ride e-scooters on the sidewalk? In Switzerland e-scooters are categorized similar like Mopeds, so they are allowed (or required) to use the bike lanes or the street. I wonder how this is handled in other countries as I just was in Spain and we saw a lot of e-scooters and I wondered what the rules are there.
