I think this is reasonable. My guess: Gmail wants you to invite somebody in your contact list directly. And they are reluctant to reset the cap of invitation

I think this is reasonable. My guess: Gmail wants you to invite somebody in your contact list directly. And they are reluctant to reset the cap of invitation because there are so many users in the system.
