  Lenovo has bundled pre-installed malware with their computers[0][1], even going so far as to include a rootkit[2].     As far as we know, the Think* (ex-IBM) product line has been free of such shenanigans, though.

      Yeah. Those tend to have more easily replacable firmware, though.
