Why is it essential that 'everyone' knows about code -why draw the distinction?
- _bxg1 7y agoBecause like writing and basic arithmetic, it's relevant to some degree in the majority of other fields. Code is used in medicine, quantity surveying, manufacturing, film, oil drilling. It's a field that cross-cuts fields, and decision-makers who don't have a basic understanding of it are going to make worse decisions no matter what their organization's primary focus is.
