You have until September 2020 to fix it? More seriously; it's going to be a nasty migration for anyone who needs to get rid of the dots in their domains. At minimum you need to create a new bucket, migrate all of your data and permissions, migrate all references to the bucket, ... I mean, if Amazon wanted to create a jobs program for developers across the world, this wouldn't be a bad plan. :(
