- astonex 7y agoWhile the prosecution was dumb (it was clearly a joke), he did turn out to be a huge right wing racist anyway

- captain_oats 7y agoThe rights enshrined in our constitution are viewed as natural rights so they cannot be qualified, all people are entitled to their protection.
- GuiA 7y agoOh absolutely. For the more egregious example of it, “______” is “felon”. Not many countries fare better, to be fair.

- fiblye 7y agoShould that be something to arrest someone for, though? I’ve seen his bizarre case being used by the far right as an example of why they’re correct and various conspiracies are against them. And let’s be real, being afraid of a pug to the point you arrest someone? Come on. The government caring about stuff like that is taking the Streisand effect to new levels. It’s even more bizarre when supporters of those laws condemn China. It’s the same policy, just different politics.
