I am currently in the process of negotiating an employee agreement that limits IP claims to stuff reasonably related to the official line of business, rather than the more normal "everything you think about until you leave belongs to us".
- andrewstuart 16y agoSomething that works well here is "everything you think about until you leave belongs to us" PLUS "company will give written permission for you to own IP of any personal/open source project that is not work related, permission will not be unreasonably withheld"
