I can't believe people are applauding this. The whole "you can go make your own platform, facebook/google/twitter/youtube doesn't owe you anything" excuse is bullshit. Look at what happened when people DID try to make their own platform with Gab. They were DDOSed and people uploaded child porn and then reported it to try to get the whole site shut down to prevent people who were silenced elsewhere from talking there too. They're behaving more like the nazis than the white nationalists! Cheering on authoritarian censorship of things you don't want to hear doesn't make you virtuous it makes you a coward. The solution to bad speech isn't censorship, it's better speech: First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a socialist.
