I used to feel the same way until I realised the caliber of both the cyclists and drivers in the ACT meant that permitting riding on footpaths would save a considerable amount of lives.
- dwd 8y agoCyclists and cars don't mix. In fact any time you have a significant difference in the speed vehicles are travelling you will have issues, whether a bicycle, motor scooter or a car travelling well under the speed limit on an open road.
