theft is never morally justified.
- chasing 8y agoTaxes aren't theft. And, really? Theft is never morally justified? Never ever?
- chrononaut 8y agoThe "theft" are funds helping one have the benefit of roads, air travel, municipal water and filtration, hospitals, municipal sewer systems, mail, Internet, or any other service that either depends on public funds or started on public funds. None of us would be discussing this topic in this forum if this "theft" never occurred in the past, and doesn't continue to occur.
- flapjackfritz 8y agoIt's not theft, it's public policy. Threat of violence is how most public policy are enforced. You don't have to agree to the laws of a democratic constitutional republic, but you sure do have to follow them.

- flapjackfritz 8y agoWe have a public system for deciding constitutionality as well. If you don't believe in the system, that's certainly your perogitive.
- cra 8y agoEighteenths amendment prohibited selling of alcoholic beverages nationwide. Would that be active today, would that stop you from buying beer?
