7. They waste economic resources that could be better spent elsewhere. Customers are the ones who pay for a company's marketing budget.

- kiriakasis 8y agoI completely agree, but I also believe that it could be relevant to keep in mind the difference between what ads are right now and what they could be. If Mozilla can grow a small but reliable advertisement space and impose significant restrictions on the style and taste of the ads this could actually improve the whole industry.
