I'm surprised Bezos doesn't empathize more with the working class, especially given his own humble origins. In fact, I find it hard to discern his personality.
- ForHackernews 8y agoHumble origins? Didn't he famously start Amazon with a $300,000 loan from his parents? I don't know what you consider humble, but my family does not have a spare 300 grand to gamble on risky investments.
- ionised 8y agoHe was given hundreds of thousands of dollars by his parents to start a business. Not exactly humble beginnings.
