This type of article has been about 5% of the front page for as long as I’ve been in the community (~4 years, lurker for ~3). Yes, maybe it feels obvious. Yes, it’s doesn’t cite a whole lot of evidence. But it resonates with people, and being reminded of the obvious continues to be useful if not glamorous. So I’ll keep upvoting those that resonate with me!
