I never understood why the time is not just forwarded an half hour, and then kept there. Best of the 2 worlds
- lucb1e 8y agoI think having whole-hour timezone offsets is much easier. The only exception is if every nation on earth agrees and shifts by half an hour, which I very much doubt is going to happen: some countries even have regions that do or don't observe DST (such as the USA).
