In general, the NYT is trying to build a case for discrimination based on flimsy evidence of discrimination, as I pointed out.

- DoreenMichele 8y agoGiven the content of the flagged to death comment, I will toss this thought out: I'm a woman and HN is an overwhelmingly male forum. I get quite a lot of downvotes at times on some subjects simply for representing the minority view. Sometimes, it isn't them per se. Sometimes, it's everyone else. (Though, granted, I have worked really, really hard at figuring out how to make certain points in a way that does fly here. So it can be done, but, wow, is it just tons and tons and tons of work.)
