As long as it's not a Spotify subscription :)
- wepple 8y agoSpotify lost me as a customer when they forced me to use some ridiculous chat to explain why I was cancelling my account. I was actually cancelling to re-sign-up using a non-Facebook account as a paid subscriber.. Add silly friction and you get -1 customer.
- dizzant 8y agoWhen did this happen to you? I've been considering the same, but switching accounts hasn't yet been worth the hassle.
- jrowley 8y agoYou should be able to just disconnect your facebook account, and login via email, no?
- robin_reala 8y agoMaybe now? When I tried to swap from a Facebook login to an email login after deleting my FB account a couple of years ago there was literally no way, so I just cancelled my payments and went with Apple Music instead.
- wepple 8y agoYou’d think so, right? Nope: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Accounts/Change-from-Facebook-login-to-an-actual-spotify-account/td-p/53605 https://community.spotify.com/t5/Accounts/Change-from-Facebo...
- wepple 8y agoA couple of weeks ago. With the backlash against FB recently, you’d think theyd try reducing the friction of shifting from FB login to email, but apparently not.
- adityapurwa 8y agoI dont know whether its their mistakes or not, but the moment I discovered that they have data leak, I immediately cancelled my trial membership and asked then to delete my account.
