I tried it out a couple of months ago, but then decided to not go forward with it.
After the trial was over, i was inable ro access my markdown notes again. I really really hate when I get locked into a product. No matter how open and cool it looks thanks to Markdown.
- simonh 8y agoAs soon as your subscription is over you lose access to everything? Ok, that’s a total deal breaker right there.

- sb8244 8y agoSomething is not right here. The notes are stored on your computer in plain text files, so you can't lose access to them. If you can't use the app to access them, well that seems okay.
- bsg75 8y agoI don't see any lock in: https://noteplan.co/faq/Save%20&%20Sync/How%20your%20notes%20are%20saved/ https://noteplan.co/faq/Save%20&%20Sync/How%20your%20notes%2... I use it and all my notes are in ~/Library/Application Support/co.noteplan/Calendar as text files. I don't think you lose anything if you want to migrate away.
