- zbentley 8y agoYep, and if you practice reading a lot, you’ll get much faster and get better comprehension. Just try to avoid the styles of “quantity oriented” reading practice taught in e.g. law school. Nothing is more guaranteed to make books unappealing as a pleasure activity. People with learning disabilities and reading-oriented jobs may have different experiences with those techniques, though.
