So AWS finally lost enough money to the Russian blockade that they caved. Sad.
- nasredin 8y agoRussian economy is very very small. Whatever Amazon's reason is it's not that they lost some Russian banks for a week.
- angry_octet 8y agoThe same technique is being used to prevent censorship in a host of countries, like UAE, that have giant piles of cash and influence, and where blocking AWS/Google would have unacceptable consequences. No one gives a damn about a few Russians.
