Just an aside, this hasn't been the way good science has been done for a long time: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strong_inference http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strong_inference I do however agree; many researchers I work with don't understand the benefits of adopting a strong inference approach.
