You should give cinnamon a try. I think you would prefer it over gnome.
- Snuupy 9y agoI actually use Linux Mint for this reason - Cinnamon is just awesome (except the random crashes every once in a while) Docking support is great, but sound output needs to be swapped manually sometimes.
- sassy_samurai 9y agoWill Cinnamon be fast and responsive on an old laptop with a 2nd-gen Intel Core i5 processor and 4 GB of RAM? And how is the support for NVidia GPUs?
