I can't agree enough with the importance of trying to reach the taste makers in the industry. You may never reach them, but if you do, and you make a good impression, it can completely transform your market presence. No reason not to try, especially when the cost of doing so is so low.

  Good point, worse case scenario is they ignore me and I lose nothing.
