- rocky12 9y agoThat is my hypothesis, as they were gentrified out of NYC they moved to places like Newark.
- yalph 9y agoSorry but thats not true Bronx is quiet poor and its just one subway ride away.

Crime in Newark is going down too: http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2017/12/newarks_crime_decline_and_old-school_policing_di_i.html http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2017/12/newarks_crime_decli... In fact, crime in the whole country is down dramatically from what it was in 1990. So unless the poor are being deported, something else must explain the drop in crime.
