It's a "she". But I agree. The article reads as "these guys seem desperate, let me kick them one more time, it's for their own good". It's one thing to be driven by facts, calling out bad things when you see them, this reads like an opinion piece saying "they still haven't learned". And "they" is wildly generalized. It seem that "entrepreneur" is becoming synonymous to "arrogant, sexist asshole", and if think that, you're actually creating another problem, not solving the existing one.
