We actually use codemirror at work as the basis of a fully-operational operation-transform based collaborative editor. We are working on open-sourcing our implementation, but thank you for all your hard work! It's interesting about not being able to easily bolt on collaboration; it was not a trivial endeavor at all, but codemirror's APIs made that part exceedingly easy :)
