Perhaps I'm missing something here, but isn't this just an API that draws two letters inside a circle? Why is this at the top of HN and receiving such accolades? It's neither interesting nor technically challenging. Am I just missing the satire here?

However interest is subjective, and it’s obviously interesting to some, considering the traction it’s gotten.
