It's worth pointing out that CrashPlan's business client app uses Electron (because the Java client app for home users wasn't bloated enough). That's reason enough for me to look elsewhere.
- jwong_ 9y agoWow, I had heard it was native for business. Being Electron is even less native than the Java client, no thanks.
- mikevm 9y agoAccording to their website you continue using the same Java app: Do I need to install a new CrashPlan app? No. The conversion process automatically updates the CrashPlan app on your computers. Instead of the green-themed CrashPlan for Home branding, you'll see the blue-themed CrashPlan for Small Business branding.
