Flash has very little to offer as a tool, but as a platform with thousands of hours of beautiful, creative content made for it (Homestar Runner, games, interactive art, etc), it will be tragic to lose all that art and history. If we open-source Flash, at least museums will have an option to preserve that content for future generations to learn from and enjoy.
