I'm just a consumer, but Google Play Books are in fact available for DRM-free download when so-requested by the publisher. Or least that's the reason Google gives when directly providing the book as a DRM-free download.
- runevault 9y agoCheck other comments, they aren't the quality PDFs previously available from the O'Reilly site, but crappy conversions from epub.
- sqldba 9y agoYeah. Also I'd rather not give Google my money. If something goes wrong I don't like my chances of getting it back. At least with O'Reilly you could talk to a human.
