- toomuchtodo 9y agoFun fact: Publix is the largest employee-owned grocery chain in the US.
- 1123581321 9y agoEmployee-owned means the owners retired by selling the company through an employee stock purchase plan. Publix, Woodman's etc. are good places to work but they aren't communes or cooperatives.
