He's aware of your skill- you need to read between the lines. When he says, 'it looks easy', he means that based on the work he's seen you do, it looks like something that you could easily do. He obviously believes that you possess significant skill in coding if he's jumped into a start up with you. I'd suggest hiring a co-op student or volunteer (many people will work for free for programming experience) to do some of these 'easy' tasks. This will enable you to teach others how to program in your style, and allow you a mentor relationship which will GREATLY increase your coding and management skills.
