I've got an older version (https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Hf3470-Wake-up-Light-White/dp/B003XN4RIC/ https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Hf3470-Wake-up-Light-White/dp...), I've never noticed any buzzing. Can't say I have supersensitive hearing but I tend to notice things like that.
