The so called "Privacy Shield" was from the start just a renaming of the previous existing contract between the US and the EU. Thus it did not protect anything more than it was protected before. Until the EU stops to make such "show politics" for the masses, nothing will change and we will get such contracts that essentially have no effect at all.
