The Investigatory Powers Bill will still pass in Britain, if not now, when we leave the EU in 2018.
- wtfishackernews 10y agoThis is still an important step and very significant for other EU members.
- mike-cardwell 10y agoYes. We can no longer rely on an outside authority to police our government for us. We need to find a way to make our own government work for us.
- katpas 10y agoSpeculation, but it would probably depend who was leading the government then and also whether all existing European law had been re-implemented into UK law as part of the process to leave.
