For anyone looking for a broad intro to neural networks, I read a bunch of stuff when I was getting started and these two were the most outstanding:

http://cs231n.stanford.edu/ http://cs231n.stanford.edu/
- franch 10y agoAlso, a very nice tutorial for Keras: https://github.com/leriomaggio/deep-learning-keras-euroscipy2016 https://github.com/leriomaggio/deep-learning-keras-euroscipy...
- caycep 10y agonice...the 1st link is the draft for the Bengio group's book?
- brhsiao 10y agoI think you're thinking of http://www.deeplearningbook.org/ http://www.deeplearningbook.org/. The chapters I read from that were very good, but I didn't finish the book so hesitated to recommend it.
- ivan_ah 10y agoAlso, a couple of weeks ago there was the "Bay Area Deep Learning School" with 10/10 good lectures: http://www.bayareadlschool.org/schedule http://www.bayareadlschool.org/schedule (best for someone who already has a bit of math or ML background) The videos of the tutorials are on youtube: https://youtu.be/eyovmAtoUx0?t=9m42s https://youtu.be/eyovmAtoUx0?t=9m42s
