Because it's a largely unregulated market.
- rufusroflpunch 10y agoIf you read many other posts in this thread, you will see it's the exact opposite. Unregulated markets nearly always result in lower prices. Pharmaceuticals are, by far, one of the most register markets.
- antisthenes 10y agoUnregulated markets never stay unregulated for long. It's an unstable system. The biggest players in the market have incentives to create regulatory capture mechanism through influence on policymakers.
