Can London too?
- smcl 10y agoI jokingly said to my friend that we could solve a handful of complex problems easily - England* declares independence from the UK and leaves the EU, the rest of us get to remain. Since we're already in fantasy land, London can remain if they like :) * = I am assuming the Welsh vote was due to a few of the Welsh lads being too exited by the Euros to vote, so they get a pass on being narrowly "Leave" this time

- iso-8859-1 10y agoUnlike Scotland, Greater London has boroughs that voted for the exit: Barking and Dagenham, Bexley, Havering, Hillingdon and Sutton.
- thetmkay 10y agoStill 60-40 remain (of 3.7m), versus 62-38 (of 2.6m) in Scotland [0]. Looking at the majority of each constituency is misleading - it's a popular vote. There both strong pro-EU in numbers. [0]http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-36616028 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-36616028
