For one thing, you can safely go a lot faster on asphalt than on dirt while still being able to round corners and come to a stop.
- maxerickson 10y agoIf you draw a distinction between streets (~access) and roads (~transport) that isn't really a good reason. People around here drive too fast on streets as it is.
