when I was a kid I would tell people I was a 'Senior IT Consultant', now if anyone asks I tell them I'm a computer guy
- smoyer 10y agoFor years my wife was a stay at home mom - if people asked what I did, I said I was a "go to work dad". When pressed further, I often said techie, or nerd or worked on computers and electronics. I've been a CTO twice (at relatively small companies) but if I ever said that, people might get the impression I'm one of those MBA guys (can't have that).
