It's weird because a couple of answers here say that it's harder getting into higher positions without a degree.
- mattzito 10y agoYeah, I think there's probably a middle management trap in a lot of organizations where they want you to have an MBA for a director of product management role, but for a vp of product or cpo job they're actively recruiting the exact people they want usually based on job experience or prior success. I think I skipped over that because I got acquired into the middle management role, no resume or job spec required.
