- jwallaceparker 11y agoExactly! That's what I meant by NIRP (Negative Interest Rate Policy).
- kspaans 11y agoWhy are you sitting on piles of cash (digital or otherwise) such that NIRP would hurt you? It's much more sensible to keep your long-term savings in non-cash vehicles. And your short-term, liquid holdings (rainy day savings fund) doesn't need to be so large that a -1% interest rate will hurt a lot.
