Quick comment - is there any benefit in using flash for the start trial now button?

It looks nice :) But seriously - we're going to be doing some a/b testing and that's one of the things we'll be looking at. At this point the main benefit is that they're slightly animated to catch attention

  this is what i see when going to your website: http://i.imgur.com/qKNAJ.png http://i.imgur.com/qKNAJ.png ditch the flash or at least put some alternative image/text there.

    Yikes thanks for sending that over. That doesn't look too good . I'll get started on having an alternative in there for people without flash.

      I have AdBlock+ enabled and I didn't see that flash header either. There was no giant blank space for me though.

        Good catch. Just went through some of the flash issues with our designer and he had named the flash header class "adspace" Something tells me that's the problem :) Should be fixed

  Is it possible to sign up without Flash being enabled? Admittedly I'm currently on a Flash-hate marathon at the moment, and most people have it installed and enabled, but surely it's best to go with HTML for something so important?

    We went ahead and put in alternative static images for those who don't have flash/have flash disabled. Thanks again for the feedback

Also, can you speed up the demos? The pacing is horribly slow. "now we are going to click 'Item List' [pause] [pause] [pause] [click] [pause] [pause] now..." I would expect that your potential customers already know about POS terminology and quickly want to see if your software matches their technical requirements and is easy to use. The incredibly slow moving, dumbed-down videos would turn me off instantly.

  Yea I agree that theres a few points where it gets slow, I'll take a look at tightening them up a bit. That being said I think they're not bad considering some of the other training videos I've seen :) Was there a particular one that bothered you? Let me know and I'll get to it asap - thanks

After setting up OpenBravo and other open source POS/ERP systems I am looking to get info on your product quickly. How do I import existing products? How do I perform end of year inventory? How are gift cards/gift certificates handled - if at all? etc. Personally I'd rather read all the answers than be forced to watch dozens of slow paced videos, but if you could speed them up I guess that would be ok too.
