2) It's probably not a disk. I'd bet it's an SSD, or something. I doubt he'd use an HDD considering how relatively cheap it is now... and considering how loaded

- mtanski 11y agoSSD = solid state DISK
- frame_perfect 11y agoFuck
- samstave 11y agoI thought it was drive, not disk.
- frame_perfect 11y agoActually no. It's only referred to that because people are stupid. It contains neither an actual disk nor a drive motor to spin a disk. HDD = HARD DISK drive SSD = SOLID STATE drive
- czechdeveloper 11y agoSSD can also stand for Solid State Disk. Disk does not imply moving parts.
- 1stop 11y agoBut it does imply a disc, as in a circular thing. SSDs are very square looking discs...
- mtanski 11y agoIt's kind of like apps still using the floppy drive icon to indicting Save action.
- frame_perfect 11y agoNo. It's only referred to that because people are stupid. It contains neither an actual disk nor a drive motor to spin a disk. If SSD = Solid state disk, then HDD = Hard disk disk.
